Looker bedroom

The brief was for an island bed, set on a platform so that the panarama of the valley at Marlow on Thames could be viewed.

The bed incorporates motorised adjustable slatted units, swivel drawers in the side tables, large storage drawers in the plinth, and flip up storage trays in the top bar of the headboard for cuff links etc.

The headboard was designed to reflect the window details and we used spalted beech panels to give an abstracted impression of sky and landscape.

The sculptural dressing table has four swivel drawers and a full length mirror with two adjustable side mirrors.

The fitted wardrobes have automatic door openers so that both doors open with one hand. All are fitted with interior lighting and we also fitted two carousel units that smoothly slide out of the wardrobe and rotate to give access to the adjustable chrome steel shelves, trouser hangers and baskets.

This project is the perfect example of exclusive design for an original modern interior.
