Black work embroidery display table

It’s always nice to be asked to design and make a piece of furniture that displays a treasured heirloom and this was an exceptionally nice piece of spanish ‘black-work’ embroidery which we transformed into a coffee table.

The simple design allows the intricate stitching to really stand out.

Made from fumed oak with a toughened glass top to protect the embroidery.
